Background: PV have been developing a new system, called Studio, for interactively valuing trades from a UI. Initial coverage is for IR Swaps and Equity Options.

Project description:
Extend Studio to cover Structured Products. This is a complex trade type where analysts can specify the payoff of the trade in custom scripts. Also, expose the Studio backend services to the outside world so that clients can call them directly and not through the UI.

Team composition: 4 backend devs, 2 frontend devs, 2 quants, 2 QA, 1 product (spread between Bucharest, London, Toronto and Noida)

Responsibilities:
This position will suit candidates who enjoy both the technical and business aspects of design, developing, testing, and deploying software to a schedule in an environment of high visibility and transparency around deliverables, business needs, and customer value.

Application Design
• Contribute to architectural design and frameworks.
• Ensure system capacity, performance and failure recovery architecture including design and execution of both functional and non-functional tests.
• Tight collaboration with product managers and expert business analysts. Comprehension of business specifications and an ability to implement well designed solutions based off of the defined requirements.
• Apply knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.

Application Development
• Design and code complex programs.
• Evaluate complex business requirements and processes.
• Provide production support for several mission critical systems.
• Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.

Mandatory Skills:
• Java core - Collections, Concurrency, Memory Model, Garbage collection - Strong, 3+ years
• Spring Boot - Strong, 3+ years
• Deep experience with microservices architecture running in AWS - Strong, 2+ years
Spring Boot, hosted on AWS (ECS, Cloudfront, S3)

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Blockchain experience
• Java 10
• Solidity
