Database Engineer/Developer

We are looking to recruit for a Database Engineer / Developer (SQL) vacancy in Ukraine.

Within this data focussed role, your responsibilities will include:

Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures, views and functions
Develop high-quality database solutions, procedures, and scripts for data migration
Manipulate and transform data according to business requirements
Perform thorough testing
Create and maintain documentation/manuals to stakeholders


Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in Software Development or Data Analytics
Experience as a Data Analyst looking to develop custom reports
Excellent experience with SQL language, transactions and stored procedures
Good knowledge of SQL and various SQL Server like Firebird, Interbase, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Knowledge of reporting engines like FastReport or similar is an asset
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or similar is an asset


Desired Skills:

Must be meticulous and attentive to detail.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize work accordingly
Good communication and ability to work in a team.
Command of the English language is a must
