Middle or Senior Automation QA Engineer with Audio background (offline)

Avid-ProTools team is focusing on Pro Tools Family development. Pro Tools suites intention is to compose, record, edit, and mix high-quality music or sound for movies on a Mac or PC using Pro Tools, the industry-standard audio production platform. Design the perfect setup for your needs with a wide array of Pro Tools solutions—from hardware interfaces and consoles to software, plug-ins, and more. Our team provides design, development and quality assurance activities as well as plugins development, qualifications and CET services.

Requirements
Must have:
⦁ Understanding of digital audio processing principles
⦁ Solid QA experience, good theory and practice of testing SW and/or HW products
⦁ Familiarity with OOP principles
⦁ Experience working with programming languages, Java and/or Ruby is a big plus
⦁ Experience working with Linux or similar OS
⦁ General understanding of an embedded systems architecture
⦁ Intermedite+ level of English, spoken English is a must
⦁ Desire to learn and to contribute to world best products from the industry leader

Nice to have:
⦁ Knowledge of the Digital and Analog audio concepts
⦁ Hands-on experience working in ProTools or similar DAW
⦁ Hands-on experience working with AD/DA devices, portable USB/Firewire/Thunderbolt audio interfaces
⦁ Practical work with professional sound hardware
