Senior Software Developer (offline)

Experience:
— 3+ years experience in web design and programming required;
— Shopify experience is required;
— Established Shopify development experience, including building custom themes and features from scratch;
— Proven experience in Shopify, as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.

Requirements:
— Shopify Custom-build, Template modifications, Installation, 3rd Part App Integrations, etc., as well as modifications to existing elements;
— Strong experience with Liquid template;
— Strong experience of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3;
— Strong experience of server-side Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) pre-processing platforms;
— Strong experience of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery;
— Strong experience of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks;
— Experience with mobile development and/or mobile-first responsive design;
— Knowledge and experience debugging and maintaining production level code;
— Good understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them;
— Scrum/Agile software development methodologies;
— Past experience with architectural patterns of large, high-scale web or mobile applications.

Will be a plus:
— Experience in Node.js, SQL, Backbone.js or similar languages/frameworks;
— Experience of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX;
— Basic knowledge of image authoring tools;
— Familiarity with Automated build tools, Code Management and Continuous Integration preferred.
