Technical Writer

Requirements
 

• Experience: 2+ years of proven commercial experience in technical writing, preferably within software or SaaS environments.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills (C1+ / equivalent to IELTS 7.5 or higher) with a strong command of grammar, style, and tone.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard style guides (e.g., Microsoft Style Guide, Apple Style Guide).
• Technical Aptitude: Solid understanding of modern software concepts, web technologies, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Communication Skills: Ability to break down complex technical architectures and concepts into clear, concise, and structured prose.
• Tooling Expertise: Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, the Atlassian suite (Confluence, Jira), and Microsoft 365.
• Independence & Detail Orientation: Self-driven approach to research, interviewing subject matter experts (SMEs), and ensuring terminological consistency.

Nice to Have
 

• Experience with Markdown and Docs-as-Code workflows.
• Familiarity with SaaS architecture and cloud platforms.
• Foundational knowledge of User Interface (UI/UX) design principles and UX microcopy.
• Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and querying concepts.
• Experience inspecting, testing, and documenting REST APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger/OpenAPI.

Responsibilities
 

• Produce clear, timely documentation detailing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for deployment cycles.
• Create step-by-step tutorials, "How-To" guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting workflows.
• Author and maintain comprehensive user manuals.
• Organize and update internal Wiki spaces to streamline cross-team knowledge sharing.
• Document RESTful APIs, integration endpoints, parameters, and workflows for developers and technical stakeholders.
