Director of Software Design to the Medical IT product company healthPrecision (offline)

healthPrecision, a US-based Medical Software (IT) company, is dedicated to improving the delivery of high quality patient care through the use of its innovative Medical Brain™ technology: a real-time clinical decision and advisory support platform delivering best practices and guidelines across the entire clinical spectrum.

Responsibilities:
The Director of Software Design is responsible for the design, architecture and development of software solutions at healthPrecision in an end-to-end manner. Duties include:
— Collaboration with team to determine technical requirements
— Technical design and architecture of all aspects of The Medical BrainTM solution including data structures, databases, service layers, communication protocols, security, interfaces, UI/UX, etc.
— Algorithm development and optimization
— Design for key considerations such as security in the cloud, maintainability, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
— Technical guidance and coaching of software development teams
— Managing development team to ensure timely releases

Qualifications:
— BS or higher equivalent degree in Computer Science from an accredited institution
— 10+ years of hands on experience in software development for the cloud (web + mobile) using Agile / Dev Ops methodologies
— 7+ years of experience in software design and architecture
— 5+ years of experience managing/leading software development teams
— Experience with .NET Core / .NET, Azure Service Fabric, Azure Service Bus, Angular, Redis
— Experience with C#, Python, JavaScript, ECMAScript
— Experience with MongoDB, MS SQL and other SQL, Non- SQL and In-memory databases
— Experience in developing micro-services based, N-tier enterprise-class applications using the Microsoft stack (SOA/MSA)
— Experience with Artificial Intelligence algorithms and AI software development
— Experience with software development for healthcare
— Experience with HIPAA-compliant software and cloud systems
— Experience with UML and other modeling methods
— Advanced English
