Senior Oracle Developer (offline)

Project Description:
Managing the models of the Power System that are required to analyze the reliability and economics of the power system as a whole. It can be used in operations control, electricity markets, system expansions and other areas of power utilities.
Technically implemented as 3-tier solution: .NET/WPF client, WCF service for connect with .NET/WinService server, either MS SQL Server or Oracle DB.
Scrum-based workflow with TDD, mandatory peer review and ad-hoc pair programming sessions. QA process is a mix of automated and manual testing.

Responsibilities:
Design and code functional routines and modules
Estimating, technical specifications, coding and unit testing
Troubleshooting and defect fixing

Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years of database development experience with SQL Server
• 3+ years of database development experience with Oracle
• C# .Net development experience
• Strong RDBMS, SQL, TSQL and PL/SQL knowledge
• Good knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle database architecture
• Practical expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis
• Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills
