Job Description
We are looking to hire a Business Intelligence Analyst who will take part in creating enterprise-level reporting solution in the financial domain.
The Business Intelligence Analyst is a balanced technical and business role.
You will be responsible for the identification of business requirements, reporting, and data analysis needs as well as the design and implementation of data model, reports and dashboards.
You will work closely with client and IT team to turn data into useful information, knowledge and insight that can be used to make business decisions.
Also you will be responsible for encouraging clients to use the data as an analytical tool, displaying the information in new forms for the purpose of analysis and data exploration.
You will work in a multicultural environment with talented colleagues from European countries both on-site and when going on business trips.
Responsibilities:
- Work with business units and key stakeholders to define reporting and analytical requirements, issues, needs, and deadlines
- Design data models, build reports and data visualizations for business units in PowerBI
- Work with BI Developers and Architects to build underlying data warehouse that cover business needs.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
- Handle ad-hoc reporting requests quickly and efficiently
- Assist in training business units on PowerBI
- Maintain relationships with key business customers
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in BI or/and data modeling, machine learning area.
- Strong experience with BI software, preferably PowerBI (DAX)
- Experience writing SQL queries, functions, procedures.
- Able to take leadership of multiple activities and cover changing priorities in a fast-paced and growing environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- High level of self-motivation
- Knowledge in financial domain or debt collection is a plus
- Machine learning and big data experience is a plus
