WordPress + Next.js Developer

Our client is an international product-based IT company specializing in the iGaming industry. Born in 2014, they rocked the CIS region and are now taking their success worldwide.

We are currently looking for a WordPress & Next.js Developer.

📋 Key responsibilities and your contribution:
 

WordPress

• Development and maintenance of custom themes and plugins
• Building Gutenberg blocks, working with ACF, CPTs and taxonomies
• Third-party service integrations and REST API development
• Maintaining multilingual projects and hreflang

Next.js

• Frontend development with Next.js + WordPress as a headless CMS
• Working with REST API / WPGraphQL
• SSG, ISR, SSR and caching
• SEO implementation: metadata, Open Graph, schema.org, sitemap, robots.txt, canonical, hreflang
• Core Web Vitals optimisation

General

• Landing page development and migration of projects to headless
• Affiliate tracking and third-party service integrations
• Working with the SEO team on technical optimisation
• Git, code review and documenting solutions
   

📚 Your qualifications:

• PHP and solid understanding of WordPress: hooks, filters, template hierarchy, plugins
• Experience developing custom themes and plugins
• Gutenberg + React, ACF
• JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Next.js App Router
• Understanding of SSG / ISR / SSR
• HTML/CSS and responsive markup
• REST API
• Git, webpack / Vite
• Technical SEO and Core Web Vitals
• Yoast / Rank Math
• Experience with multilingual websites
• Experience using AI tools/agents in development

• WPGraphQL, Tailwind CSS
• Vercel or self-hosted Node.js
• Cloudflare / CDN
• CI/CD
• Affiliate marketing and tracking
