Senior Business Analyst

CodeIT is a service product development company. We know how to transform business ideas into profitable IT products. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join one of our ongoing client projects.

We are looking for someone who can go beyond documenting requirements: understand business goals, identify problems and opportunities, challenge assumptions, propose solutions, and help stakeholders make informed product decisions.
The environment requires an ability to navigate complexity, work with evolving priorities, and take ownership of outcomes rather than individual tasks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role in IT/software development.
• Strong business and product mindset with the ability to connect requirements and proposed solutions to broader business goals.
• Ability to work from business goals and problems rather than relying on fully defined tasks or detailed specifications.
• Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and parallel initiatives.
• Ability to see the bigger picture and understand how different processes, systems, and business decisions are interconnected.
• Strong ownership and proactive mindset: ability to identify problems and opportunities and propose solutions without waiting for detailed direction.
• Proven experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge assumptions constructively, defend a point of view, and propose alternative solutions.
• Strong facilitation skills and experience running discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements discussions.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Ability to balance the depth of analysis and documentation with delivery speed and business priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
• Experience participating in presales activities.

Nice to Have

• Product Owner or Proxy Product Owner experience.
• Experience creating or improving BA standards, practices, templates, or guidelines.
• Experience using AI tools in day-to-day Business Analysis activities.
• Basic technical background or knowledge of a programming language.
