System administrator (VoIP, Linux server) (offline)

Dutchstar offers you challenging work in a friendly international team. In this role you will responsible for all server and office computer installations, and anything related to system configuration. You will be an important long-term person of our team, because the daily functioning of all our systems will fully depend on you. The job is 70% in Lviv, and 30% is 2 week business trips to our offices & hotel-apartments in Amsterdam, Malta, Krakow. When we send you abroad we will provide you accommodation, transport & extra travel salary. Juniors are welcome, because the most important factor is natural technical talent.

Duties:
Install OS & applications on office computers (& creation and usage of default installation image) in Lviv & abroad.
Install new IP-cameras & cables (incl. mounting them on the walls with screws and wireways/trunking), in our offices & our hotel-apartments, in Lviv & abroad.
Log all technical problems reported by staff, in Lviv & abroad.
Fix technical problems (internet connection, PC installation, printer, cams, telephony, etc), in Lviv & abroad.
Install apps and config iPhones & Android-phones of new staff.
Config work in Asterisk (telephony server) for setting up new departments with new ring groups, and new callcenter configurations.
Manage user accounts & user rights of staff in various systems (Owncloud/Nextcloud, Asterisk, MySQL, Mail server, Wiki, etc)
Monitor and prevent hacking attempts to our servers
Order new products from tech providers (new internet connections, new phone numbers, new domain names, new software packages, new computer hardware, new payment systems)
Manage server backups
70% in Lviv. 30% for short 2 week business trips to Lviv, Krakow, Amsterdam, Malta (with extra travel salary)

Requirements:
Upper-intermediate/intermediate English level is a must
Linux server experience & knowledge of basic Linux commands.
Expert in Windows installations & fixing trouble on desktop PCs.
Knowledge of the hardware specs & prices of computers nowadays, so you can advise us what to buy economically.
Knowledge of the principles of proper installation & maintenance of local networks & routers (incl. port-forwarding for cams, etc)
Ready for short 2 week business trips (extra travel salary during trip) to our offices & hotel-apartments in Krakow, Amsterdam, Malta
Ready to crawl under desks & screw things into walls to arrange cables properly.
Perfectionist in work.

Advantages:

Work or hobby experience with Asterisk server installations (or otherwise any SIP/VOIP experience in general)
Work or hobby experience with mail server installations
Work or hobby experience with Apache/PHP/MySQL server installations
Work experience with Amazon EC2 servers
Some basic abilities in SQL
