Configuration Manager (Build/Release Engineer) (offline)

Job Description
• Experience with and a broad understanding of implementing and managing complex technical projects infrastructure with the ability to solve technical problems

• Strong experience with Oracle Database installation, tuning, and version upgrades on one of Solaris\Unix

• PL/SQL programming skills

• Experience of administering of WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss EAP

• Experience of administering on one of WebSphere MQ\SonicMQ

• Experience with Web and\or Application servers: the ability to install setup and tune. Preferred:
WebLogic, Apache Tomcat

• Experience of administering on one of WebSphere MQ\SonicMQ

• Strong working understanding and ability for writing scripts (Posix\ Korn shell and\or Perl, python)

• Software build process experience, familiarity with Java and C\C++ build tools and compilers

• Experience with source code control systems such as CVS\ Subversion

Nice to have:

• Basic experience/understanding using PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Understanding of principles of LDAP

• Exposure to Java technologies (Java, Java EE, EJB, Web Services, JMS, etc.) is a plus

• Background in Linux\Unix and Windows Server Administration



Job Responsibilities
• Ensuring the development team has properly installed and configured the environment on-time.

• Establishing and managing the CM infrastructure, managing, troubleshooting and improving CM tool and environment

• Evaluating, installing, configuring software, providing appropriate maintenance levels and tuning

• Producing documentation for use in configuration, repair, and troubleshooting of managed systems

• Performing database backups and recoveries
