Middle QA Automation (Java) (offline)

Job Description
- BA, MS degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 3+ years overall commercial experience in software quality assurance / testing / test automation
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing and test automation with use of Java
- Good understanding of different testing types, levels and technics
- Understanding of best practices in software development (version control systems, code reviews, continuous integration, etc.)
- Intermediate and above English (read / write / speak) for daily communication with the clients’ team leads and subject matter experts
- Understanding of Agile or iterative development lifecycles
- Understanding of performance, reliability, failover, high availability aspects of the system is a plus
- Practical experience with Java Core / JUnit / SOAP or REST is a plus
- Microservices project testing experience
- Understanding of the IP networking, virtualization and data centers’ architecture is a plus
- Maven / Jenkins / Git / Gerrit / Eclipse experience is a plus
- Unix-like systems shell commands and scripting experience is a plus

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with client’s team lead, subject matter experts, developers and local team in Ukraine
- Review of new features’ requirements, review of test-cases, test-case coverage
- Writing test-cases for feature and system verification
- Manual testing of features according to test-cases
- Bug fix verification (manual and automated regression)
- As part of development - automate test-cases with use of Java
