Senior Java Developer (offline)

This is a new role in an established distributed team, with existing team members in Ireland and Ukraine. For this role, we are considering remote or based from our office Lviv. We are hiring 2 Senior Java developers to build new architecture for a backend migration project with an ambitious long term roadmap of new functionality.

What will I be doing?
● Rebuilding from scratch the backend for an established and market-leading marketplace product, owning and maintaining the product's quality, delivering new features and updates.
● Learning and growing a passion for the company's business strategy and delivering a product that reflects that.

What skills do I need?
● Solid experience developing Java web applications, and knowledge of Java's inner workings
● Solid knowledge and experience with Spring Boot architecture and AWS is a big plus
● Strong TDD skills
● Experience scaling web applications
● Understanding web security specifics
● Knowledge of the frontend stack (JS) is a plus
● Experience in web parsing is a plus
● Good written and spoken communication skills in English.

The product roadmap includes new components that will use machine learning and blockchain technology.
