Senior JavaScript Developer (business trips to California and Israel) (offline)

Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience in building large Javascript applications in browser;
• Experience in building a large (10,000+ line) Javascript application or library without a framework like React, Vue, Angular, etc.;
• Extensive knowledge of common architectures and design patterns;
• Experience in designing, building as well as maintaining large applications;
• Experience in dealing with the limitations of older browsers;
• Decent HTML and CSS skills (enough to implement someone else’s design);
• Passion for learning new browser technologies and the latest developments in the Javascript language and ecosystem;
• Experienced with Git and related workflows;
• Experienced with writing unit tests and other automated testing
• Experienced in giving and receiving code reviews;
• Good to go on 2 week business-trips to California, US and Israel (Tel Aviv);
• English: Upper-Intermediate.

Nice to have:
• Passion for good quality code and developing tooling, processes and techniques for improving it;
• Experience in finding and fixing CSS conflicts/bugs;
• Good refactoring skills;
• Experience in profiling and optimizing slow code in the browser;
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, as well as Agile practices;
• Some experience with Node.js;
• Experience with build tools like Rollup, Babel, Gulp, etc.

Responsibilities:
• Bringing up-to-date expertise in front-end web technologies to the team, and applying this to the development, execution, and improvement of our analytics tools;
• Supporting continuous improvement of user experience tools, documentation, and process;
• Supporting data collection strategy and innovation;
• Designing public JavaScript API’s for use by the public;
• Conceiving and presenting new ideas for the product roadmap;
• Evaluating and implementing the latest tools and processes;
• Maintaining and extending our continuous integration pipeline.

About the Project:
We are looking for a motivated Senior JavaScript Developer to come and join our team of professionals! If you’re comfortable working in the front end, but just love Javascript and are probably happier creating clean architecture and intuitive business logic we’re looking for you!

In this role, you’ll be joining an experienced team of Javascript developers focusing on cloud-based analytics products servicing many of the top brands around the world. You will help drive a product roadmap to build a world-class web SDK for collecting and reporting on user behavior on a website.

You’ll be hands-on, helping to make technology choices and architectural decisions to maximize performance, minimize file size, and provide for needed customizations and extensions of the product. The successful candidate will need deep experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, cross-browser development.

The Project is a client mobile application. The customer provides its clients with their own libraries, for embedding in their software, which collect analytical data and send the customer’s system to the enterprize. There is also a web portal where clients can configure the metrics they need and the statistics collected by the libraries. The Mobile client allows you only to view this data. The ability to edit is being developed. The mobile client is an iOS and an Android application. Metrics that are gathered and configured are the following: the level of satisfaction with the applications of the customer’s clients, feedback and ratings.
