TIBCO Consultant

We are seeking an experienced TIBCO Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise integration solutions using the TIBCO platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW5/BW6), Enterprise Message Service (EMS), API integration, web services, and messaging technologies. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise integration solutions using TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW5/BW6).
• Develop and maintain TIBCO services, APIs, and messaging solutions.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, and JMS.
• Configure and manage TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) for reliable messaging.
• Design reusable integration components and services following SOA and API-led architecture principles.
• Develop error handling, exception management, logging, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Integrate enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of TIBCO applications and messaging services.
• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support application deployments, migrations, upgrades, and release management.
• Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and deployment guides.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise integration standards and security policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8+ years of experience with TIBCO integration technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW5/BW6).
• Experience with TIBCO EMS and JMS messaging.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, and XSD.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications and databases.
• Knowledge of SOA, microservices, and API integration patterns.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• TIBCO BusinessWorks certification.
• Experience with API management platforms such as TIBCO API Exchange, Apigee, MuleSoft, or Kong.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization.
• Experience with cloud-native integration solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecommunications, or Retail domains.

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF).
• Experience integrating SAP, Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Workday, or other enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and API security best practices.
