Every page we launch is part of the customer journey — from the first click on an ad to the final checkout step. And when something breaks, even something small, it can affect conversion, tracking, customer experience, and revenue.

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to help our CRO team make sure our landing pages, product pages, funnels, forms, checkout flows, upsells, A/B tests, and tracking events work smoothly before they go live.

This is a hands-on manual QA role for someone detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working with fast-moving e-commerce teams.

ABOUT SERANOVA

Seranova Beauty is a 9-figure DTC beauty brand built on science, strong execution, and products that genuinely work. We develop clinically tested skincare with world-class dermatologists and scale through performance marketing, creative testing, CRO, and high-volume e-commerce operations.

We move quickly, test a lot, and care deeply about the quality of what our customers see and experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our CRO team is constantly launching and improving landing pages, offer pages, product pages, checkout flows, upsells, and experiments. To keep that pace without sacrificing quality, we need someone who can carefully test each flow, catch issues early, and help the team ship with confidence.

You’ll work closely with designers, developers, and the Head of CRO. Your role will be to check that everything works as expected across devices, browsers, and key user journeys — from page layout and buttons to forms, checkout logic, A/B test setup, and tracking events.

This is primarily a manual QA role. Basic automation or technical experience is a plus, but the main focus is thoughtful, structured, hands-on testing.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Website, Funnel & Page Testing

  • Test landing pages, product pages, advertorials, funnels, quiz flows, checkout flows, and upsell steps before launch.
  • Check that buttons, links, forms, pop-ups, modals, pricing blocks, product variants, discounts, and checkout paths work correctly.
  • Review mobile and desktop versions across key browsers and devices.
  • Identify layout issues, broken elements, responsive bugs, UX issues, and anything that could affect conversion.
  • Follow QA checklists and SOPs prepared by the CRO team.

E-commerce & Shopify QA

  • Test Shopify product pages, cart behavior, checkout flows, discount logic, bundles, subscriptions, and upsell/cross-sell mechanics.
  • Make sure pricing, product details, shipping logic, and offer structure are displayed correctly.
  • Run regression checks after page updates, app changes, new experiments, or funnel releases.
  • Help the team make sure that changes do not accidentally break existing customer flows.

Tracking & Experiment QA

  • Check that tracking events are firing correctly across tools such as Meta, TikTok, GA4, GTM, or similar platforms.
  • Verify pixels, UTMs, conversion events, order tags, and key tracking points.
  • Support QA for A/B tests and experiments to make sure variants are set up and working properly.
  • Flag tracking or setup issues before paid traffic is sent to new pages.

Bug Reporting & Communication

  • Document bugs clearly with screenshots, screen recordings, steps to reproduce, expected result, actual result, browser/device details, and priority.
  • Communicate with developers, designers, and CRO stakeholders to help resolve issues quickly.
  • Re-test fixes and confirm that bugs are resolved.
  • Keep QA notes, checklists, and test results organized and easy to follow.
  • Escalate urgent issues when they could impact checkout, tracking, conversion, or customer experience.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have at least 1 year of QA experience, ideally in manual testing.
  • You have tested web applications, websites, landing pages, mobile/web flows, or e-commerce experiences.
  • You understand how to test user journeys from the customer’s perspective.
  • You are comfortable checking forms, buttons, checkout steps, discounts, upsells, and other customer-facing flows.
  • You have experience with tools like Jira, ClickUp, Confluence, BrowserStack, Postman, Figma, Zephyr, or similar.
  • You have basic understanding of HTML/CSS or are comfortable inspecting simple page issues.
  • You are detail-oriented and can notice small things that others may miss.
  • You can describe bugs clearly and work well with both technical and non-technical teammates.
  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can move quickly.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Shopify.
  • Experience in e-commerce, DTC, beauty, wellness, supplements, fashion, or other consumer brands.
  • Experience testing CRO funnels, landing pages, A/B tests, quiz flows, or direct-response pages.
  • Familiarity with GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, UTMs, or similar tracking tools.
  • Basic API testing experience with Postman.
  • Basic automation experience, though this is not required.
  • Experience working with remote teams, startups, agencies, or performance marketing teams.

YOU’LL THRIVE HERE IF…

You enjoy finding issues before customers do.

You’re the kind of person who clicks through every step, checks both mobile and desktop, notices when something feels off, and wants the final experience to be clean, reliable, and easy for the customer.

You don’t need everything to be perfect before you start, but you do like having structure, clear checklists, and good communication. You can work quickly while still being careful, and you understand that in e-commerce, quality is directly connected to conversion, customer trust, and data accuracy.

OUR CULTURE

We move fast, test often, and care about outcomes. The team values ownership, clear communication, practical problem-solving, and people who take pride in doing their part well.

You’ll be joining a team where QA is not just “checking pages” — it’s helping protect the customer experience, the accuracy of our data, and the performance of our funnels.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Remote cooperation with a fast-growing 9-figure DTC beauty brand.
  • Opportunity to work closely with CRO, growth, design, and development teams.
  • Exposure to high-volume landing pages, Shopify flows, A/B tests, checkout experiences, and performance marketing funnels.
  • Contract / freelance format, with potential cooperation via Upwork.
  • Full-time or part-time workload depending on candidate availability and fit.
  • A practical, hands-on role where your work directly helps the team launch better pages and cleaner customer journeys.

If you’re a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer who enjoys testing e-commerce funnels and helping teams ship with confidence, we’d be happy to hear from you.
