.Net Developer (offline)

Client: OJ Electronics specializes in designing and developing electronic controls for HVAC and underfloor heating systems. The main focus is made on developing and producing products with high quality, functionality, reliability, design and intuitive operation.

You will be a part of OJ Electronics ”Cloud Platform” team which is responsible for developing and maintaining our cloud-based server solutions for our electrical floor heating systems. This includes the development of web services, websites and mobile apps for monitoring and control of the thermostats in the floor heating systems and integration with other systems and devices.

The team acts as a DevOps team responsible for handling everything from small maintenance/bug fixing tasks up to many bigger development projects at once. The team is very important strategically as a part of OJ’s business plans within IoT for smart buildings/smart homes.

As part of the roadmap for the upcoming year(s), we are looking into:
- Providing voice control capabilities (integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Home)
- Adding big-data and machine learning features, enabling us to add more value to our products and customers
- Extend our existing solutions with new features for our customers
- Developing a “next generation” cloud platform system which is more flexible, modularized and easier to maintain.

Technical Competencies:
Over 3 years of experience with software development at C# (.Net) programming
Developing websites in ASP.Net (HTML, CSS, Javascript + javascript frameworks)
Developing web services with ASP.Net WebAPI
MS SQL Server (DB development / maintenance)
UML to visualize architectural software design
Software Design Patterns
Cloud hosting platforms like AWS and/or Azure
Use of CI/CD environments (ideally TFS)
Working in a scrum team

Would be a plus:
Developing web-based microservice architectures
Elastic Search
Redis Cache

Personal Competencies:
Strong communicator, able to communicate with team local and distributed locations
Be customer-oriented with a focus on commercial aspects within the development
Able to act as technical lead for server and web development projects
Strong in English, writing and verbal.
