About Realityjam & The Industry Access Program
At Realityjam, we are on a mission to bridge the gap between education and employment. Our Industry Access Program is a premier, specialized training and education initiative designed to prepare young people in the UK for successful, long-term careers in the competitive computer games industry. We give aspiring developers and game artists the practical skills, mentorship, and industry access they need to break into the market.
We are expanding our team and looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to convert qualified interest into active enrollment, helping us scale our movement and change more young lives.
The Role: You Are The Closer
As a BDM for the Industry Access Program, you won't be wasting your time cold-calling or hunting for leads. Our dedicated lead generation team will supply you with a steady pipeline of warm, highly qualified leads.
Your primary mission is to take the baton, schedule discovery and enrollment calls, build immediate rapport, address objections, and close the deal on the spot. We need a consultative closer who can passionately articulate the value of our program and inspire prospects to take action.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Call Pipeline: Efficiently manage, follow up with, and schedule calls with warm leads handed over by the lead generation team.
- Conduct High-Impact Sales Calls: Lead video/audio calls with prospects, assessing their suitability for the program and clearly demonstrating how Realityjam can launch their career.
- Close Deals: Act as a high-performing "closer," utilizing effective sales techniques to secure commitments and close deals directly on the call.
- Maintain CRM Pipeline: Keep meticulous records of communications, pipeline stages, and conversion metrics.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with the lead gen and program management teams to optimize the sales funnel and feedback loop.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrable experience working in a similar or parallel business development, high-ticket sales, or recruitment-focused role. You must have a proven history of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- The "Closer" Mindset: You are comfortable asking for the sale, handling objections with ease, and driving a call to a decisive, positive conclusion.
- Gaming Industry Intelligence: You possess an intermediate understanding of the software development pipeline for computer games. You should have a general understanding of game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity), how they work, and a solid grasp of the 3D asset pipeline (including concepts like modeling, rigging, texturing/materials, and lighting). You need to speak the language of our prospects and program.
- Flawless Communication: Top-quality, fluent verbal communication skills in English are absolutely essential, written communication are less important, but basic written English is also required.
- Reliability & Alignment: Ability to commit to 4 days per week, fully aligned with UK business hours.
What We Offer
- Competitive Compensation: A dependable base salary of $750 per month, supplemented by a commission structure allowing you to earn up to $1,800+ per month total.
- Warm Pipeline: No cold calling or lead gen. Your focus is 100% on what you do best: selling and closing.
- Purpose-Driven Work: You are selling a product that genuinely changes lives, helps young people find employment, and supports the future of the UK gaming industry.
- Remote Flexibility: Work from anywhere, as long as you are available during UK business hours.
If you are a consultative closer who loves the gaming industry and wants to help drive a meaningful movement, we want to hear from you. To learn more about what we do, visit:
