Head of Collection
Work Format: Remote or Relocation to Cyprus
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 09:00–19:30
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Collection Department.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Collection Specialists.
• Ensure achievement of departmental targets and KPIs.
• Develop and implement effective Soft Collection and Hard Collection strategies.
• Analyze collection performance and continuously optimize processes.
• Manage overdue debt portfolios and improve recovery rates.
• Create and implement employee motivation, development, and performance evaluation systems.
• Monitor service quality and compliance with internal standards.
• Drive automation initiatives and introduce modern collection tools.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Risk, and Operations departments.
• Prepare management reports and performance analytics for senior leadership.
Requirements
✔ At least 2 years of experience managing a Collection Department, Contact Center, or Operations Team.
✔ Hands-on experience in MFI, banking, lending, or fintech industries.
✔ Strong understanding of Collection, Soft Collection, and Hard Collection processes.
✔ Proven experience managing teams of 15+ employees.
✔ Strong knowledge of KPI management, reporting, and performance analysis.
✔ Experience building and optimizing business processes.
✔ Excellent leadership and people management skills.
✔ High level of accountability and results orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Experience working within international MFI or fintech companies.
⭐ Experience building collection processes from scratch.
⭐ Experience managing remote teams.
⭐ Experience implementing CRM systems and collection process automation.
⭐ English language proficiency (Intermediate level or higher).
