Middle DataBase developer (offline)

Responsibilities:

• Creating database schemas using SQL server, using both relational and analytical database models;
• Performance tuning over large datasets using monitoring tools and query execution plans;
• Developing new functionality and integrating with existing systems;
• Creating and supporting SQL Server agent jobs;
• Managing and enhancing ETL processes;
• Developing database unit tests;
• Managing database source control;
• Developing and supporting business intelligence systems using SQL Server Analysis Services;
• Understanding new data sources that will integrated into the data warehouse;
• Creating and managing large datasets for testing;
• Testing and supporting the database code base;
• Liaising with the QA team to improve the ongoing quality of the application.

• SQL Server Development (2017, 2019);
• SQL Server Analysis Services Development (2017, 2019);
• MDX, DAX, T-SQL;
• C# and CLR Stored Procedures;
• Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modelling;
• SSAS Tabular;
• ETL (Extract Transform Load) Development;
• Database Performance Tuning;
• Database Administration;
• Source Control (git);
• XMLA (desirable);
• Intermediate level of English or higher.
