B2B Lead Researcher / Lead Generation Specialist
About the role
We are looking for a B2B Lead Researcher / Lead Generation Specialist who can build high-quality lead databases from scratch for our sales team.
The main goal of this role is to research target markets, identify relevant companies and decision-makers, collect and verify contact information, and prepare clean, structured lead lists that can be used by a sales manager for outreach and client communication.
This is not a sales closing role and not a live client communication role. We need a focused, detail-oriented person who can consistently generate relevant B2B leads, understand target industries, and prepare useful data for the next stage of the sales process.
Responsibilities
Research target markets, industries, companies, and potential client segments
Build lead lists from scratch based on provided ICPs
Find relevant decision-makers: CEOs, COOs, CTOs, Heads of Operations, Heads of Transformation, Product Owners, etc.
Collect and verify contact information: LinkedIn profiles, emails, company websites, locations, company size, and relevant notes
Enrich leads with useful business context, such as industry, potential pain points, automation opportunities, and reason for relevance
Work with sources such as LinkedIn, Google, company websites, directories, Clutch, GoodFirms, Upwork, communities, job boards, and other open sources
Maintain clean and structured lead databases in Google Sheets, Airtable, HubSpot, or similar tools
Segment leads by industry, geography, company size, role, and potential fit
Remove duplicates and keep the database accurate
Prepare short lead notes so the sales manager can quickly understand why the company may be relevant
Track daily and weekly lead generation progress
Use AI tools to improve research speed, data enrichment, and lead qualification
Required experience
1+ year of experience in B2B lead generation, lead research, market research, or sales research
Experience building lead databases from scratch
Understanding of B2B sales and ICP-based research
Experience finding decision-makers on LinkedIn and other public sources
Experience with lead enrichment and data verification
Ability to work with Google Sheets, Excel, Airtable, HubSpot, or similar tools
Good attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to understand business context, not just copy contacts into a spreadsheet
English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher for research and data collection
Nice to have
Experience with IT, SaaS, AI, automation, software development, consulting, or B2B services
Experience researching international B2B markets, especially US, UK, EU, Israel, UAE/Dubai, and Singapore
Experience with tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Hunter, Snov.io, Clay, Crunchbase, BuiltWith, Similarweb, or other lead generation tools
Basic understanding of business operations, workflows, automation, and digital transformation
Experience preparing leads for outbound sales teams

Budget: up to $1000 per month depending on experience and workload
Main success metric
A consistent flow of clean, verified, and relevant B2B leads that match our target ICP and are ready to be used by a sales manager for outreach and client communication.
This role is focused on lead research and database preparation, not on closing deals or conducting sales calls.
