Senior Backend Engineer (Node.JS / Typescript / AWS)

Our Customer:

Our client is a technology company developing a digital platform for insurance-related services in the travel domain. The product combines real-time customer support, automated operational workflows, claims processing, and data-driven tools to improve the overall user experience.

Your tasks:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance backend services for web and mobile applications;
• Take ownership of backend features end-to-end;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented TypeScript code;
• Build and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data flows;
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability and performance.

Required experience and skills:

• 6+ years of experience in backend development;
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js;
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS);
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript;
• Experience with Nest.js;
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases;
• Experience working in scalable production environments;
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication skills;
• English level: C1 for direct communication with the client;
