Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment.

You will manage multiple workstreams, align cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure clear, proactive communication. This role requires strong ownership, quick decision-making, and the ability to sustain delivery momentum despite constant change.

You are a proactive and resilient leader with a product mindset, able to handle complexity, think critically, and clearly communicate what has changed and why - before being asked.

Our client is transforming the hospitality industry with innovative solutions that optimize daily operations, enhance transparency, and drive profitability. 

Our flagship product automates tip management, and we’re expanding our suite of tools to streamline every aspect of hospitality operations. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Project Management: 5+ years of experience in project management with proven ownership of end-to-end delivery. Strong ability to lead sprint processes, adapt plans in dynamic environments, and manage risks, scope, and milestones with minimal supervision.
  • Stakeholder Management: Advanced communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups (Sales, Engineering, and Leadership), proactively set expectations, handle priority shifts, and resolve cross-functional conflicts. Proven ability to build strong client relationships and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Product Ownership Mindset: Hands-on experience with backlog grooming and prioritization, making informed trade-offs, aligning with product strategy, and contributing to roadmap discussions.
  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, remove blockers, manage dependencies, onboard new team members, and drive effective collaboration.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Experience delivering clear, structured updates tailored to different stakeholders and maintaining comprehensive, up-to-date project documentation.
  • Business Analysis Skills: Strong ability to define and structure requirements, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, proactively clarify ambiguities, and translate business needs into actionable tasks for engineering teams.
  • Technical & Tools: Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, and experience applying them in practice. Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar tools. Strong understanding of SDLC and general software development processes; familiarity with Python is a plus.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Project Management: Lead, coordinate, and own all stages of the project lifecycle, including planning, estimation, execution, and delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Collaborate with and support multiple stakeholder groups; communicate proactively, address needs, and resolve issues across Sales, Account Management, Design, Engineering, and leadership.
  • Product Ownership: Own and groom the backlog, prioritize tasks based on roadmap and strategy, and actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making. Take ownership of sprint backlog prioritization with clear upfront communication.
  • Team Management: Lead and support the engineering team, ensure effective collaboration across teams, remove blockers, and onboard and guide new team members.
  • Reporting: Provide regular and timely project updates tailored to different stakeholder groups.
  • Project Documentation and Awareness: Create and maintain up-to-date documentation, ensuring knowledge is clearly communicated and accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Business Analysis: Participate in feature discussions, prepare user stories and task descriptions, and ensure all requirements are clear before development starts.
