About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on QA Engineer to join our team and take ownership of quality assurance across multiple Magento e-commerce projects. You'll be responsible for testing new features, validating migrations and upgrades, investigating production bugs, and ensuring seamless third-party integrations โ€” all while working closely with our development and DevOps teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • QA & Functional Testing โ€” Design and execute test cases for Magento storefronts, including checkout flows, CMS pages, product catalogs, and order management
  • Bug Investigation & Triage โ€” Reproduce, investigate, and document bugs across payment gateways (CreditGuard), ERP integrations (Priority, Comax, Boss), and front-end tracking systems
  • Migration & Upgrade Testing โ€” Validate Magento version upgrades (e.g., 2.4.x patches), data migrations (categories, products, URL redirects, CMS pages), and go-live readiness
  • Analytics & Tracking QA โ€” Verify Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Facebook Pixel, and Conversions API (CAPI) implementations to ensure accurate event tracking and data consistency
  • Third-Party Integration Testing โ€” Test marketing system integrations, ERP order synchronization, shipping module upgrades, and CDN caching solutions (Cloudflare)
  • Deployment Validation โ€” Validate deployment pipelines (Deployer), staging environments, and configuration management workflows
  • GDPR & Compliance Testing โ€” Test cookie consent implementations, GDPR popups, and assess their impact on traffic and analytics
  • Documentation โ€” Create user guides, test case documentation, and setup procedures
  • Service Desk Support โ€” Handle and resolve customer-reported issues via the service desk

 

Requirements

 

  • 2+ years of QA experience in e-commerce or web application environments
  • Strong knowledge of Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce โ€” understanding of its architecture, admin panel, catalog, checkout, and CMS
  • Experience with bug tracking tools โ€” Jira proficiency is a must
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms โ€” Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel / CAPI
  • Understanding of web technologies โ€” PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics
  • Experience testing third-party integrations โ€” payment gateways, ERP systems, shipping providers, CDN solutions
  • Knowledge of deployment workflows โ€” CI/CD pipelines, staging/production environments
  • Strong debugging skills โ€” ability to isolate issues across frontend, backend, and third-party services
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage QA across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good communication skills in English

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Experience with Cloudflare (caching, CDN, Workers)
  • Familiarity with GDPR/privacy compliance requirements for e-commerce
  • Experience with ERP systems (Priority, Comax)
  • Knowledge of SEO-related QA (URL redirects, structured data)
  • Automation testing experience (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
