Automation QA Engineer (Tallinn) (offline)

The ideal candidate is a smart, proactive, and self-driven person. We expect that you are able to work on own initiative, as a part of a team, without supervision and you have a good personal commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:
- Perform QA activities including report results and quality metrics, defect troubleshooting and follow up
- Requirements analysis
- Research and assess new technologies and test tools
- Perform automated testing
- Design, write, execute, automate, maintain automated tests and frameworks
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration infrastructure

Required Skills:
- Experience in testing web applications both (UI and Backend)
- 3+ years of software quality assurance experience in a system test environment
- 2+ year of testing automation experience
- Java 8 knowledge
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience in testing back end APIs
- Experience in testing using Selenium/Selenide
- Experience in using testing frameworks (TestNG/JUnit 5)
- Experience with Git, CI Tools
- Good theoretical knowledge of SW Testing processes and deliverables and best practices
- Understanding of development operations
- Intermediate or higher written and spoken English

Skills considered to be a plus:
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python/JS is a huge plus)
- Experience with Kafka and Docker
- Experience with Linux
- Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery process
- Knowledge and good experience with testing tools (Jira, TestRail etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development framework – Scrum/Kanban process
- Ability to think out of the box, adapt and implement innovative solutions
