Business Analyst (Fintech)

The Business Analyst (BA) within the IT team acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into effective technology solutions. Working closely with finance, operations, and regional LATAM teams, the BA gathers, analyzes, and documents requirements, aligning them with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, define functional specifications, and support the delivery of IT initiatives that enhance financial systems, reporting, and operational efficiency. The BA plays a key role throughout the project lifecycle - from initial discovery and requirements gathering to testing, implementation, and post-release support.
 

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with business stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and opportunities
• Translating business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
• Facilitating communication between business and IT teams to ensure shared understanding
• Supporting solution design, testing (UAT), and implementation activities
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and regional (LATAM) requirements
• Identifying process optimization opportunities and driving continuous improvement
   

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with excellent communication skills, has experience in financial services, and is comfortable working in a multicultural LATAM environment.
