Middle Test Automation (JAVA) Engineer (offline)

PROJECT
As a Test Automation starter you will need to setup automation process and support its implementation by less experienced team members. We have no strict rule about which toolkit to use – if you suggest a suitable and promising solution fulfilling project needs – you will be able to implement it.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysis of project needs, Test Strategy planning, including Test Automation
Implementation of Test Strategy on a new project, including Test Automation (framework core, minimum valuable set of tests, integration into dev process)
Regular tasks estimation and planning
Auto-tests design and implementation for defined scope
Review of artifacts delivered by lesser peers, including both test artifacts, test automation code and estimates evaluation
Smoke/Regression activities performing, TA runs results analysis, and communication with the team
Regular and clear status and progress reporting

REQUIREMENTS
Strong understanding of TA goals, areas of applicability, activities, deliverables
Commercial experience in TA on Java OR .NET OR JS/TS
Strong understanding of OOP paradigm and its projection to code
Understanding of most common code design patterns and paradigms, ability to clearly recognize them in own code
Experience in using mainstream libraries/tools for next TA areas: Web API, Web UI, TA results reporting
Experience working in Agile environment
Good understanding of the objectives and techniques of planning/estimation
Experience in requirements analysis and coverage tracking
Experience in creation of main SW testing docs: Test Cases, Bug Reports, Test Plan, Test Strategy, Status reports etc.
Experience in direct communication with client and/or client team
WILL BE A PLUS:
Experience in creation of TA Frameworks from scratch
