Head of Legal (iGaming)

📍 Kyiv (office / hybrid)

We are a licensed Ukrainian online casino product (PlayCity, ex-KRAIL), actively growing in the local market.

We are currently looking for a Head of Legal — a key team member who will take full ownership of the legal function, including regulatory взаимодействие, international contracts, and ensuring full compliance with Ukrainian legislation.

⚠️ We consider only candidates based in Kyiv or willing to work from Kyiv

Responsibilities:

• Full legal support of the company (operational + strategic)
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts (game providers, payment systems, affiliates, marketing partners)
• Ensuring full compliance with Ukrainian gambling legislation and PlayCity requirements
• Communication with the regulator (reporting, requests, audits, license updates)
• Legal support of international contracts (in English)
• Advising internal teams (marketing, product, finance) on AML/KYC, GDPR, advertising, and compliance matters
• Monitoring legal changes and implementing updates
• Handling routine legal tasks (documentation, archiving, deadlines control)

🔹 Requirements:

• 3–4+ years of legal experience
• Experience in iGaming / fintech / betting / crypto or other regulated industries
• Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher — required
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating contracts
• Solid knowledge of Ukrainian gambling regulations (PlayCity)
• Understanding of AML/KYC and GDPR
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and hands-on approach

🔹 Nice to have:

• Experience in licensed Ukrainian iGaming companies
• Knowledge of international regulations (MGA, UKGC, Curaçao, etc.)
• Experience working with payment systems and game providers
• Experience with regulatory reporting and audits
• Experience building or scaling a legal function
