Business Analyst / QA Analyst

Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst who will also take on Quality Assurance responsibilities. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical validation, ensuring high-quality delivery of web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Transform ambiguous or incomplete information into clear, structured documentation
• Create diagrams, process flows, and user stories
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and validate requirements
• Develop and maintain test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing of web applications
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Ensure consistency and clarity across all documentation and deliverables

Requirements

• Proven experience testing web applications
• Hands-on experience writing test cases and test scenarios
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
• Strong ability to structure and organize complex or unclear information
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, Excel, and test case management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working in startup environments
• Exposure to HR or recruiting systems/processes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Basic understanding of APIs and backend systems
