Full-Stack Web and Data Engineer (Investment Intelligence Platform)

Summary

Seeking a skilled developer to build and maintain a premium investment intelligence platform.

• You'll combine Python, SQL, ETL pipelines, REST APIs, AI tools and custom WordPress features to deliver investment analytics, interactive investment analysis tools, reports, data grids and charts, and subscriber content
• US Customer: several hours US Timezone (EST) Overlap

A financial intelligence platform providing institutional-quality stock and market data to retail investors and investment managers at accessible price points.

Your Role

Build & maintain web platform features including investment and hedge fund data, analytics, and reporting tools using WordPress frontend, AI instruments, Python, and data backend.

You will be the key technical builder and maintainer of investment intelligence platform, combining backend data pipelines with a WordPress frontend. This hybrid role covers data engineering, AI integration, and web development to deliver high grade hedge fund analytics and investment insights to a growing subscriber audience. 

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines for large financial data import/transformation (PostgreSQL, Python with Pandas, Airflow or similar tools)
• Develop WordPress custom plugins/themes/blocks for interactive data displays & subscriber features.
• Create REST APIs to serve data for dynamic tables, grids, and reports
• Audit and optimize WordPress and infrastructure for performance, security, and caching; handle subscriber access. 
• Automate data workflows & iterate on user-facing features

Requirements

• Python for ETL, data pipelines, and AI
• Solid SQL for data manipulation
• Solid WordPress (plugins, REST API, PHP, optimization)
• JavaScript + frontend libs for tables/grids (DataTables/Chart.js and similar)
• nice to have/would be a plus: Linux, Docker, cloud experience
• B2/C1 English with several hours of overlap with North America (EST).  
• Experience with Financial/investment domain
