We are looking for a Lead BI Analyst to build and own the company’s operational data layer. This role sits within VP Operations and works at the intersection of sales, delivery, manufacturing, and finance, ensuring that the company operates on a single, consistent version of truth.
Lead BI Analyst will be responsible for designing and maintaining cross-functional dashboards, aligning data definitions, and providing actionable insights that support execution and decision-making across the business.
Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence & Insight Delivery:
- Designing and maintaining executive-level dashboards covering:
- Sales (pipeline, forecast, deals)
Delivery (program status, capacity, execution)
Operations (bottlenecks, performance) - Translating fragmented data into clear, actionable insights.
- Highlighting inconsistencies across departments and driving alignment on metrics.
Cross-Functional Data Alignment:
- Working with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure consistent data definitions.
- Aligning metrics such as: forecast, committed revenue, delivery status
- Ensuring all stakeholders operate on a unified data model.
Dashboarding & Reporting:
- Building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI (or similar tools).
- Ensuring clarity, usability, and decision-making focus in all reports.
- Supporting both executive reporting and operational tracking.
Program & Execution Support:
- Supporting TPMs and PMs with data for program tracking.
- Building reporting for key initiatives (e.g., CRM rollout, new office launches, process changes).
- Providing visibility into risks, delays, and bottlenecks.
Data Integration & Quality:
- Working with existing BI / data teams to integrate data from:
- CRM systems
ERP systems
Operational tools - Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates.
Data Governance & Definitions:
- Establishing and maintaining a single source of truth.
- Defining key business metrics and ensuring adoption across teams.
- Driving standardization of reporting across departments.
Skills and Experience:
- 4–8+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or reporting roles.
- Strong experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with multiple data sources.
- Experience working with business stakeholders (not only data teams).
- Understanding of business processes across sales, operations, and delivery.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies and challenge data when needed.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present insights clearly.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in hardware, engineering, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting operations, program management, or executive teams.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
- Experience with data governance and metric standardization.
