Member of Technical Staff Offline
ARIMLABS has recently started collaborating with one of the world’s leading AI labs on a project focused on improving the ability of modern AI models to solve complex, practical engineering problems.
As a result, we are looking for strong engineers to join our team.
Core responsibility:
Designing complex tasks across different technical domains — Software Engineering, SRE, DevOps, and Cybersecurity — for the further training and evaluation of state-of-the-art AI models.
What you will do:
- quickly dive into new technical domains and work through non-trivial problems;
- run, compile, debug, and adapt third-party projects;
- integrate APIs, SDKs, and other tools;
- work with code, tooling, infrastructure, and automation;
- interact with agentic systems or the environments built around them;
Who we are looking for:
We care less about narrow specialization or years of corporate experience, and more about genuine interest in complex technical problems, a strong engineering foundation, adaptability, and the ability to quickly get up to speed in new areas.
Approximate profile:
- a versatile engineer who can take on a wide range of tasks at a basic to intermediate level;
- someone comfortable working with other people’s code, non-standard libraries, tooling, or infrastructure;
- a specialist with practical or conceptual understanding of agentic systems such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar approaches;
- Experience in complex technical areas is a major plus, including compilation, DevOps, SRE, systems programming (C/C++/Rust/low-level), infrastructure administration, reverse engineering, data / ML tooling, and related fields.
Nice to have:
- CTF/research experience, or pet projects;
- an unconventional technical background;
- the ability to independently arrive at solutions in conditions of incomplete information.
Terms:
- Compensation is task-based. Your total income depends on the number of completed tasks, your pace, and your level of involvement.
- Realistic range: $1,500 to $5,000+.
- Work format: global remote, B2B - details can be discussed.
- The schedule is highly flexible, but the pace is fast.
- The first weeks involve active onboarding, so a higher level of engagement is expected at the start.
This is not exactly a “regular job,” but rather an intensive engineering collaboration at the intersection of R&D, hands-on engineering, and rapid learning.
This role is best suited for people who enjoy learning quickly, experimenting, and solving complex, unconventional problems.
