Test Automation Architect (CoE Build Specialist)

The Role
As a Testing and Test Automation CoE Build Architect, you will serve as the strategic leader for establishing enterprise Testing Centers of Excellence. You will work directly with C-level stakeholders to define the vision, design operating models, and build foundational governance structures that enable enterprise-wide testing transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Foundation: Lead planning for Testing CoE implementations with a heavy focus on Test Automation.
- CoE Charter & Vision: Develop mission statements, strategic objectives, and value propositions.
- Financial Modeling: Build comprehensive business cases with ROI modeling, TCO/TVO analysis, and investment justification.
- Operating Models (TOM): Design service delivery models (conversion, automation, full-service).
- Cost Frameworks: Create estimation methodologies (T-shirt sizing), chargeback models, and pricing strategies.
- Governance: Design steering committees, PMO models, and service review boards.
- Tech Leadership: Define test automation architecture using UiPath Test Cloud, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
Change Management: Lead launch planning and CoE adoption strategies across the enterprise.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12-15+ years in QA/Testing with 5+ years specifically in CoE design or transformation.
- UiPath Ecosystem: Deep knowledge of UiPath and process automation is a must.
- Methodologies: Expert in Agile, DevOps, Shift-Left testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven experience engaging C-suite executives and facilitating high-level workshops.
- Automation Expertise: Hands-on experience with at least one leading platform (UiPath, Selenium, Tosca).
Analytical Skills: Experience with capacity planning, demand management, and KPI Dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a CoE Head, Director, or QA Transformation Lead.
- Consulting background (Big 4 or boutique firms).
- Industry vertical expertise (BFSI, Healthcare, or Manufacturing).
PMP or SAFe certifications.
