Senior Backend Developer (Crypto and Kubernetes Expertise)

About the Project
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (close to Architect level) to design and build core backend services for the ORA platform. The role is focused on secure cloud integration using KMIP and Barbican, with strong involvement in cryptography, Kubernetes, and open-source technologies.

Key Requirements

Must have:

• Senior-level experience in backend development with Java, Golang, or Python
• Proven hands-on experience in crypto-related projects (clearly visible in CV)
• Strong understanding of cryptography, including TLS and data encryption
• Practical expertise with Kubernetes (infrastructure and management layers)
• Experience working with OpenStack
• Solid background in unit and integration testing
• Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems and core backend services
• English level: Upper-Intermediate / Advanced (C1+)

Nice to have (at least one of):

• Experience with KMIP and key management systems
• Knowledge of Barbican or similar solutions
• Understanding of cloud convergence and ORA architecture
• Experience with microservices scalability and performance optimization
• Familiarity with open standards and open-source integrations

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core backend services for ORA
• Integrate with KMS via KMIP (e.g., Barbican, Ceph)
• Build and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure (CRDs, operators, controllers)
• Implement secure communication using TLS and encryption mechanisms
• Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
• Participate in architectural decisions and provide technical leadership
