2D Concept Artist (iGaming)

Our client is a company that is one of the prominent providers of unique online slot games based in Spain. With a team of more than 20 developers, designers, and marketers, they are dedicated to creating innovative and captivating slot games. The game development project is designed to appeal to a wide audience of players worldwide.

Your maim responsibilities will be:

• Create 2D concepts for characters, environments, objects, symbols, UI elements, and atmospheric scenes for slot games.
• Ability to proceed with idea and given art style  from Production team (could be either references or some basic assets as Backgrounds/characters or few symbols)
• Prototype visual ideas at the early stages of development.
• Be able to complete project from basic idea to fully finalised slot game (no need in manual rendering, only using AI)
• Produce a huge variety of ideas for symbols, characters, backgrounds etc using AI.
• Deliver high-quality final art ready for cut/animation
• Work closely with Art Lead.

• Bring fresh ideas and suggest themes, trends, and visual solutions for future games

   

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in game development, preferably in iGaming.
• Strong portfolio with examples of character concepts, environments, and other assets for slot games.
• Solid understanding of composition, lighting, color, stylization, materials, and various art styles/rendering approaches.
• Ability to quickly generate creative ideas using AI tools (ideally Nanobanana).
• Ability to adapt to the project’s visual style.
• Experience with, or readiness to work across, a wide range of art styles.
• Proficiency in Photoshop.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Nanobanana Pro and ChatGPT; experience with Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and other AI tools will be a plus.
