Senior Automation QA Engineer (JS/TS, Playwright + FHIR)

About:
We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer (JS/TS, Playwright + FHIR) to join a project focused on building a healthcare data platform for Medicare patient management. The platform addresses the challenge of fragmented medical data across healthcare facilities by consolidating information into a complete, structured patient chart for providers and staff. It also enables advanced intelligence use cases, helping healthcare organizations deliver high-quality, data-driven care.

In this role, you will primarily focus on designing and implementing robust end-to-end tests using TypeScript and Playwright, with an emphasis on backend validation. Your work will play a key role in improving system reliability, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining high product quality across a complex microservices ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Quality Assurance
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright for test automation
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with non-relational databases
• Background in healthcare or health tech projects
• Experience with healthcare data standards such as FHIR
• Practical experience with JSON and API testing tools such as Postman
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and integration testing principles
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated tests with a focus on backend systems
• Perform API testing, validate data flows, and ensure integrity across services and databases
• Contribute to the development and rollout of the automation testing framework and practices
• Proactively suggest improvements to test strategy, tooling, and overall quality processes
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and identify potential issues early
• Maintain clear and up-to-date test documentation and reporting

Will Be a Plus:

• Experience working with AI agents or agentic approaches
• Background in healthcare or health tech projects
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as FHIR and HL7
