Data Scientist (Sweden) (offline)

Responsibilities:

• Provide decisions support to business people and managers by creating reports, running queries, building predictive models

• Design and implement warranty forecasting methods

• Assisting quality department in analyzing and making economic decisions for product warranties

• Perform analysis on a wide variety of data and process improvement opportunities; uncover trends, creating and distributing various metrics, reports and dashboards

• Effectively translate analytical findings into the language of decision makers; communicate findings effectively supported by visual representations.

• Support ad-hoc complex investigations related to corporate strategic initiatives

• Mentoring colleagues with less data science experience.



Required skills:

• M Sc in applied mathematics and, statistics or related area, or similar experience acquired outside the Universities.

• Minimum 5 years of Analytics experience from the industry.

• Statistical knowledge and experience for solving business questions.

• Experience from survival modelling

• Experience from stochastic simulations

• Programming competence, fluent in R or Python

• Experience with analyzing and manipulating a wide range of data.



Preferred skills:

• Experience analysing big data is a plus.

• Experience in analysing car logged data is a plus
