Senior SAP Integration Engineer (S/4HANA / BTP / CAP)

Outstaff Hiring: Remote – Contract (Full-time, long-term)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to support Moody’s DCI Connectors program.

The role focuses on enterprise SAP integrations and cloud-based SAP solutions using SAP S/4HANA, BTP, CAP, and SAP UI5. You’ll work on production-grade applications, help design scalable solutions, and support ongoing development and integration work.

This is a hands-on role for engineers comfortable working with complex systems, integrations, and enterprise environments.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise integrations between SAP platforms and internal business systems
• Develop and support solutions using SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, CAP, and SAP UI5
• Design and develop scalable, high-availability systems
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, stakeholders)
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Follow best practices in coding, testing, and system design
• (Lead role) Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers

• (Senior role) Deliver features and support ongoing development under guidance

   

Must-Have Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAP integrations:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
  • SAP UI5
• Experience building enterprise integration solutions connected to SAP ecosystems
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience working on production systems
• Solid understanding of system design and architecture
• Experience building scalable and reliable applications

• Strong problem-solving skills

   

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript / React / Node.js
• Experience with AWS or cloud-native technologies
• Knowledge of Cloud Foundry

• Experience in financial or credit systems
