Automation QA Engineer (offline)

Wix’s Data Org team - a multi-functional team that solves Big Data engineering problems across a broad range of Wix services. We manage a large-scale, high-availability, rapidly-growing Big Data infrastructure that supports Petabytes of data.
You are:
An Automation QA Engineer with at least 3 years’ experience in developing and maintaining automated tests, tools or frameworks. You are well versed in Java and can set up a suite of API tests in no time. You know SQL and have experience working with databases, data processing, and analytics. Experience with Python is a huge advantage.
Your strong technical skills make you a pro at identifying issues and solving complex problems, and you can always suggest the right approach. You’re motivated, self-taught and your written and spoken English is at a high level. You’re able to plan and lead QA activities in a development team, as well as identify and mitigate risks.
You know how to ask the right questions and push back when it’s needed. A “Sherlock Holmes” style problem solver, you’re good at taking ownership of tasks and communicating the quality status. You work well in teams as well as independently.
As an Automation QA Engineer, you will:
Work integrated into a development team.
Build and maintain an automation framework to test various APIs across team projects.
In perspective, automate data consistency checks during the ETL process.
Use automation tools to build a solid CI/CD cycle and assure high test coverage.
