PSP Operations Partner

The PSP Operations Partner is responsible for analyzing and overseeing the efficiency of the payment infrastructure across projects and GEOs. The role focuses on ensuring transparency in payment processes, minimizing financial losses, and maintaining the reliability and performance of the payment ecosystem. The position provides analytical insights and recommendations to payment teams, monitors their implementation, and reports directly to leadership.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with international Tier 1 payment markets.
  • Strong understanding of payment routing and cascading mechanisms.
  • Experience with payment provider integrations (direct integrations and aggregator-based integrations).
  • Practical experience working with PSP ecosystems including acquiring, APMs, crypto, or P2P solutions.
  • Experience analyzing payment performance metrics and payment funnels.
  • Understanding of payment infrastructure setup and operational processes across multiple GEOs.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis for payment solutions prior to GEO launches.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Experience interacting with product teams and integration teams around payment improvements.
  • Familiarity with BI tools and monitoring dashboards (e.g., BI platforms, Grafana) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Payment Hub systems is not required but experience with provider integrations is important.
  • Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is a must.

 

Responsibilities

1. Pre-launch payment infrastructure analysis

  • Analyze payment infrastructure in a GEO before launch.
  • Assess whether stable payment processing is possible in the GEO.
  • Recommend appropriate PSPs and payment methods.
  • Identify potential risks related to blocking, compliance, and regulatory restrictions.
  • Estimate expected payment conversion levels.

2. Audit of payment department structure

  • Analyze the organizational structure of payment teams across projects and GEOs.
  • Evaluate whether the structure aligns with business needs.
  • Monitor payment teams’ execution of tasks, research activities, and integration roadmaps.
  • Assess overall payment team efficiency.

3. Audit of payment infrastructure

  • Conduct a full audit of payment ecosystems across projects and GEOs (PSP, acquiring, APMs, crypto, P2P).
  • Verify the correctness of payment provider integrations and processing setup.
  • Analyze transaction routing efficiency.
  • Evaluate reliability and stability of connected payment providers.

4. Payment metrics analysis

  • Monitor key metrics including:
  • Acceptance Rate
  • Conversion Rate
  • IN/OUT ratio
  • Decline Rate
  • Chargeback Rate
  • Payment success rate
  • Monitor payout timelines and accuracy.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the payment funnel and sources of transaction losses.

5. Reporting

  • Prepare analytical reports on payment performance, infrastructure status, and recommendations for leadership.

6. Payment Hub plan monitoring

  • Audit and monitor execution of the Payment Hub development and integration plan.

7. Cross-team coordination

  • Work with GEO teams and PSP teams to analyze performance and provide recommendations.
  • Participate in regular meetings regarding conversion performance, integration status, and payment improvements.
