Cloud Technical Architect (offline)

Project Description:

Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.
Our client is looking to expand its use of cloud services and requires someone with a proven history in designing and deploying Azure cloud solutions along with integration with on-premise infrastructure. The successful candidate will help our client to develop their cloud strategy, work with Technology Business & Infrastructure teams to produce working POC's for selected applications/scenarios and liaise with Security functions to ensure best practice secure deployments.
Our team: Rapidly expanding team in Kyiv developing and supporting a range of client projects and requirements.
Technologies used: Microsoft Azure (IAAS), Active Directory, Microsoft EXCHANGE Server, Windows Server, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2007/TMG, Citrix technical stack.
Opportunities: Successful candidate will participation in a large scale transformation project and will be working directly with client leading IT experts. Working along with highly experienced professionals gives opportunity for farther development of technical and soft skills.
Responsibilities:

- Act as internal SME for Cloud Services
- Manage the Azure environment
- Understand legacy IT infrastructure and translate to Cloud platform(s)
- Produce POC cloud & hybrid deployments based on business use cases
- Provide internal support, guidance & skills growth internally for the Cloud platform(s)
Mandatory Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Overall 5+years of IT experience with minimum 2 years working in Azure Architect or Azure Administration.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IAAS).
- Deep understanding of Enterprise IT Infrastructure and Networking .
- Ability to keep up to date with new offerings from Azure.
- Ability to design, architect and implement IaaS solutions on Azure using ARM templates and PowerShell scripts.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Office 365 administration.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and client's functional and technical teams to ensure Azure based solutions are appropriately architected, engineered, tested, & deployed.
- Ability to translate business requirements / problems into technical architectures utilizing Azure and complementary services and technologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with administration of Active Directory, Microsoft EXCHANGE Server, Windows Server, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2007/TMG would be a plus.
Experience with Citrix technical stack would be a plus.
Experience with CI/CD, orchestrators would be a plus.
Relevant Azure certifications would be a big plus.
