Senior Product Engineer (React / Next.js)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who thinks like a Product Owner. At BSTN Store, we don't just "deliver tickets"—we build the digital stage for the world’s most exclusive sneaker and streetwear drops.

As a Product Engineer, you will own the frontend of our high-traffic e-commerce platform. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our UI is as premium as the brands we carry (Nike, Jordan, Stone Island) and as fast as the "drop" events our customers crave.

What We Are Looking For

• The Product Mindset: You don't ask "How do I build this?" you ask "Why are we building this?". You understand how a 100ms delay in Time to Interactive (TTI) impacts conversion and revenue.
• Operational Ownership: You don't hesitate to dive deep into logs to troubleshoot a bug. You know your tools and how to monitor the health of an application (e.g., NewRelic).
• Technical Excellence: You are a master of the modern React ecosystem, with a deep understanding of Server Components, SSR/SSG trade-offs, and type safety.
• Streetwear Enthusiast (Bonus): You don't need to be a "sneakerhead," but you appreciate high-end design and premium user experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Storefront: Drive the development of our React/Next.js frontend with a heavy focus on performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Architect for Scale: Build resilient systems that can handle 100x traffic spikes during high-demand sneaker releases.
• Observability & Debugging: Set up monitoring dashboards and use them to catch regressions. When a bug hits production, you are the first to look at the logs to find the root cause.
• Design System Advocacy: Work closely with designers to maintain and evolve our Tailwind-based design system.
