Manual QA Engineer (offline)

Requirements:
— 2+ years experience as a QA engineer
— Unix-based OS at user’s level
— Basic SQL/database knowledge
— Basic XML/JSON knowledge
— Basic HTML /CSS knowledge
— Experience with the browser developer tools
— Experience with testing of REST XML/JSON web-services
— Good written and spoken English

Project Technology Stack:
— Java 8 / Spring Boot / Hibernate / ReactJS / GWT

Be a plus:
— JavaScript knowledge
— Experience with build tools (Maven, Gulp, etc.) and version control (Subversion, GIT)
— Work experience on MySQL, Tomcat
— Experience with automated testing

Duties:
— Review of the product requirement documentation to assure that the developed functionality conforms to the specified requirements
— Manual testing of web applications on various browsers and devices
— Testing of video streaming in various environments (devices, network conditions, etc.)
— Testing of integration interfaces (e.g. web-services)
— Regression testing of product release candidates
— Automation of frequently executed test scenarios
— Tracking of bugs and change requests. Keeping the issue tracker in up-to-date state

About the project:
Our client is the biggest independent virtual sports provider. The platform provides virtual sport games like Football, Tennis, Basketball, Races, and Lotteries. Our team in Kyiv has developed the system from scratch and it is still actively growing. We have offices in the Lichtenstein, Spain, and Ukraine. It’s a challenging High-Load project, currently, we are generating 1 million tickets per day and operating in the US, Spain, Italy, Austria, Hong-Kong, Brasil, Nigeria, Colombia. It’s an ongoing project, the entire engineering team is located in Kyiv. We use Agile Development methodology, Jira for project flow.
