Senior QA JS/Java Automation (offline)

Project Description:
Our new customer is a venture production studio building decentralized applications and various developer and end-user tools for blockchain ecosystems, primarily focused on Ethereum. Their "hub" coordinates, incubates, accelerates and spawns "spoke" ventures through development, resource sharing, acquisitions, investments and the formation of joint ventures. These spokes benefit from foundational components that enable new services and business models to be built on the blockchain.

Responsibilities:
• Automation Test Cases Development.
• Ensure Testing Quality improvements trend.
• Coaching/mentoring subordinates.
• Technical Documentation writing/updating.
• Problem Solving/Analysis.
• Communication Proficiency.

Mandatory Skills:
• Solid experience in automation
• TypeScript/JS and Java skills (preferably for ideal candidate). Skills in either JS or Java are also a match
• Readiness to grow the skillset and learn either JS (for experts in Java) or Java (for experts in JS) to extend the stack of technologies
• CI experience(Jenkins/TeamCity/Bamboo) , experience of building CI process from scratch would be a plu
• Automation of API testing on any language
• HTTP/S protocol understanding
• Experience with docker, microservices
• Skills in Mocking/Stubbing
• SDLC understanding
• GIT or SVN
• Defect tracking systems experience (Jira preffered)
• English - not lower than upper intermediate, advanced is preferred
• Experience in Scrum/Kanban

Soft skills required:
• Good communication skills;
• High level of ownership;
• Fair and transparent reporting level;
• Readiness to operating across multiple global locations with accommodate various cultures and practices
Nice-to-Have Skills: Knowledge of blockchain
