Junior IT Security Engineer (offline)

Responsibilities:
Monitor external attacks and intrusions
Close off security vulnerability in the case of an attack
Search for security updates and recommend fixes. Participate in updating if needed
Implement and monitor security standards and best practices for the organization
Respond immediately to security incidents and provide post-incident analysis
Collaborate within company about security issues

Requirements:
Operating systems knowledge and administration skills: Windows, Linux (RedHat/Debian), FreeBSD. Understanding OS and software security principles
Skills and understanding of Active Directory security features
Knowledge of the principles of construction, networks operation and protection, experience with network equipment (Cisco, Juniper)
Understanding of the basics of information security. Knowledge and understanding of attack techniques, actual threats, ways and means of protection against them.
Working experience with enterprise-level antivirus systems (policies, configurations)
Experience in using vulnerability scanners/vulnerability management systems (Nessus)
Experience in building and working with Log Management systems
Working experience with IDS systems
Programming skills for automating routine tasks (PowerShell, sh, Python) will be a plus
At least Pre-Intermediate level of English
