Senior DevOps Engineer (Prague) (offline)

As we have brand new projects, our teams are growing and we are looking for new Techonians who will join our Prague office.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will have the chance to build from scratch the company’s DevOps strategy and tools. The ideal candidate will have strong background in software engineering and will employ DevOps tools to improve the development team’s production.

Qualifications:
• Strong and profound Linux expertise.
• Fully proficient with Docker.
• Extensive Kubernetes experience.
• Redis proficiency.
• Maintain Java web applications.
• Experience with cloud providers – Google Cloud a Plus.
• PostgreSQL proficiency.
• Nginx background – an advantage.
• Spark/Flink background – an advantage.
• Familiar with Elastic Stack – an advantage.
• Implement automation tools and framework (CI/CD pipelines).
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills.
• High level of English

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent professional experience.

Major Responsibilities:
• Shape the department’s strategy to achieve the company’s mission and core objectives.
• Mentor DevOps team members about new technologies, implementation and procedures.
• Follows policies, procedures and standards relating to the team.
• Communicate risk and progress to stakeholders.
• Create design, architecture and/or implementation documents for new features built by the team.
• Implements new features.
• Develops and reviews test automation.
• Deliver tasks accurately and on-time.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
