This role combines a deep understanding of electronics with strong PCB design skills to create reliable and optimized solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Schematic Design: Develop electrical schematics for IoT devices.
- PCB Design: Design printed circuit boards (from 2-layer to multilayer, including high-speed and RF boards).
- Component Selection: Choose electronic components considering availability, cost, and project requirements.
- Power Design: Optimize power consumption, work with battery-powered solutions, and implement low-power modes.
- MCU Integration: Integrate microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, Nordic, NXP, TI, etc.) and other components.
- Prototyping: Assemble and test initial board prototypes, debug schematics.
- Testing & Debugging: Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other tools to validate device performance.
- PCB Manufacturing Support: Prepare production files (Gerber, BOM, Pick & Place), ensure quality control, and communicate with PCB manufacturers.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing and product lifecycle support.
Requirements:
- Experience in schematic design and development of digital and analog circuits.
- Strong proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle.
