Senior QA Automation Engineer (JavaScript + Android)

Requirements
- At least 4–5 years of commercial experience in test automation using JavaScript;
- Strong knowledge of QA theory, SDLC, and testing methodologies;
- Extensive hands-on experience in mobile test automation, primarily for Android applications, using cloud-based device platforms;
- Strong experience with WebdriverIO (WDIO) and Selenium for web and mobile automation;
- Hands-on experience with BrowserStack for automated testing on real mobile devices;
- Solid experience in Web test automation (cross-browser testing, responsive testing);
- Experience with REST API test automation (Postman, SuperTest, Axios-based frameworks, or similar);
- Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks or significantly improving existing ones;
- Strong expertise in Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing;
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar);
- Good understanding of Android platform specifics, device fragmentation, OS versions, and mobile UX guidelines;
- Experience with Bug Tracking and Test Case Management tools (Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or similar);
- Experience in Healthcare or other regulated domains is a strong plus;
- Active use of GenAI tools in daily QA and automation workflows;
- Strong sense of ownership, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently;
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher (spoken and written).
Job responsibilities
- Lead automation testing efforts for Android mobile applications, with strong involvement in web automation;
- Define and evolve test automation strategy across web and mobile platforms;
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable automation frameworks using JavaScript and WebdriverIO;
- Ensure high-quality end-to-end automation coverage for mobile and web products;
- Maintain and optimize automated tests running on BrowserStack;
- Integrate and support automated tests in CI/CD pipelines;
- Analyze test failures, perform root-cause analysis, and improve test stability;
- Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile developers, Product, and QA teams to ensure testability and quality;
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation standards.
