About the role
This key Senior Product Manager role lets you shape the future of TestRail, a leading test management platform, by blending strategic product management with hands-on ownership. You will act as the Product Owner for the crucial TestRail CLI automation layer while contributing to the TestRail Core product. Leveraging your expertise in SCRUM, QA/testing workflows, and the software development lifecycle, you will drive the roadmap from PRDs to execution, collaborating with R&D and design to deliver high-impact features that make software teams more efficient and confident in every release.

 

What you will do
● Own and act as Product Owner for the CLI, defining the roadmap, priorities, and key use cases;
● Contribute to the core product by writing PRDs and supporting initiatives that enhance usability, scalability, and customer value;
● Collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure the smooth execution of product initiatives;
● Conduct customer and market research to inform roadmap priorities and identify innovation opportunities;
● Partner with Design, Marketing, Sales, and Support to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement;
● Track product usage, feedback, and metrics to guide ongoing development and prioritization.

 

Must haves
● 4+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, AQA, or in an equivalent role within a technical product environment;
● Experience with test automation (Playwright or Selenium) or exposure to developer tools and QA ecosystems;
● Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA/testing workflows;
● Experience defining requirements, prioritizing backlogs, and collaborating with R&D teams in an agile environment;
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences;
● A hands-on approach to products, being curious, proactive, and driven by real user insights;
● Comfort working within SCRUM practices, including participation in roadmap reviews, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives;
● Upper-intermediate English level.

 

Nice to haves
● Experience designing or implementing AI features that improve user workflows or decision-making;
● Previous experience with test management platforms.
